Nick Bruce and His Blinding Lights is a Glasgow-based throwback showband, playing weddings and functions throughout Scotland and the UK and specialising in deep grooves and epic shows.
That means quality disco (think Chic), funk and soul classics (Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson), 80s electronic funk (loads of Prince), early 2000s R&B (Justin, Blackstreet), and lots more!

that’s unlike any other
A burning hot horn section, lush vocal harmonies, funky synths and deep grooves: our sound is rich, versatile and funky. We’re obsessed with sound - that’s why we’ve got four keyboards on stage, and that’s why we bring a dedicated engineer to every show.

We’ve spent years working on the science and art of filling dancefloors. We play an eclectic mix - everything from Superstition to No Diggity to Shake It Off - and we’ve got awesome, crowd-pleasing medleys and mash-ups to squeeze more highs into the set.

We are not a standard wedding band - our shows are energetic, unpredictable, and brilliant fun! Nick’s an old school entertainer frontman - part Prince, part Bruce Springsteen. He feeds off the crowd and no two shows are ever the same.
